Dinosaurs evoke prehistoric times. They were fascinating creatures that ruled the world for over 200 million years. Now, they are represented by their descendants, the birds. Among the non-avian dinosaurs, a small-sized species named Berthasaura leopoldinae from 80–90 million years ago, was discovered in sedimentary rocks in Southern Brazil.
