Lung cancer remains the leading cause of cancer-related deaths in both women and men. With the advent of screening programs and the increased detection of incidental lesions, a growing number of small peripheral pulmonary nodules are being identified. Image guidance plays a crucial role in biopsying and localizing these lesions before surgery.

Various imaging modalities, including mobile and fixed cone-beam CT (CBCT) scanners, are increasingly used to support diagnostic and therapeutic interventions. This symposium provides an in-depth overview of the latest innovations in image-guided thoracic surgery.

Objectives:

Gain insights into cutting-edge advancements in image-guided cardiothoracic surgery, with a particular focus on case studies from Asia. The event will cover a wide range of technologies, from novel self-navigating systems to robotic C-arms, highlighting their impact on modern surgical approaches.
