Faced with rising MRI cancellations and operational inefficiencies across multiple sites, we collaborated with Valley Radiologists through our ActExcell advisory service to identify improvement opportunities and strengthen operational performance. By leveraging data transparency, workflow mapping, and on-site engagement, we identified root causes and implemented targeted, high-impact improvements that enhanced both patient access and overall efficiency.
Results included:
- 8% reduction in daily MRI cancellations
- 49% decrease in no-show appointments
- $384K+ in potential annual revenue impact
The outcome: a scalable model for continuous improvement and more reliable, patient-centered MRI services.
