Course description

This unique and intensive study programme is designed for radiographers new to imaging, or looking to advance their career. It can give expedited access to cross-sectional radiography training for students, newly qualified radiographers and radiographers in need of more in-depth training. Delivered over a period of three months, the programme provides learners with:

An overview of the basic principles of MRI

In-depth understanding of the modality

Understanding of the clinical application of parameter changes on image quality and time

Practical scanning experience using a simulator for routine MR

An overview of MRI physics

The soft skills needed to work as a team in a high-pressure environment
