In September, 197 school graduates will start their vocational training or dual studies in Germany at Siemens Healthineers. 117 apprentices and 80 dual students will begin their careers at Siemens Healthineers. Training in technical professions predominates, followed by IT and commercial professions. For Siemens Healthineers, in-house training is an important factor in meeting the high demand for qualified junior staff and thus developing the company in the long term. "We are looking forward to the new training year. With our practice-oriented training and degree courses in the healthcare sector, we lay the foundation for the professional development of young people and prepare them for the digital challenges," says Marco Friepes, Head of Talent Education at Siemens Healthineers Germany.
Siemens Healthineers offers vocational training positions in the fields of electronics, mechatronics, industrial mechanics as well as glass apparatus construction, surface coating and gastronomy. The company trains biology laboratory technicians, industrial clerks, warehouse logistics specialists, office management clerks and cooks. Vocational training locations for the 14 apprenticeships are Erlangen and Forchheim, Kemnath, Rudolstadt, Duisburg and Marburg, but also service and sales branches in regions such as Hamburg, Berlin, Stuttgart and Mannheim.
The dual study program takes place at partner universities in Erlangen and Nuremberg, Coburg, Ingolstadt and Mannheim, among others. Graduates study at the university and gain practical experience in the company during their lecture-free time. An international practical assignment in the company is possible depending on the area of application. This year, Siemens Healthineers is offering 13 dual studies programs in the fields of computer science, technology and business.
Applications for the 2026 training year are already being accepted online. Information on the individual professions and courses of study as well as a link to the online application can be found here.
